Ironman 70.3 Santa Cruz (9/8) and the Santa Cruz Triathlon (9/22) continue to be ‘must do’ events on the annual race schedule. PacWest has been hosting this fun and educational training camp annually for many years.

This one-day camp will provide participants a thorough understanding of the unique challenges of each aspects of the Santa Cruz race courses including how to deal with an ocean beach swim start, sighting around the Santa Cruz Wharf and riding on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Whether you commute down for the day or book overnight accommodations for convenience, the camp is a fun, solid morning for training with fellow athletes.

Evening: Travel day to Santa Cruz, hotel check-in

Saturday, August 23
Morning: Open water swim clinic & swim around the wharf followed by 40K bike ride plus short brick run.
Afternoon: Camp concludes. Optional group lunch.
